In this video, Phil covers digitizing a basic logo from a vector file in Adobe Illustrator CS5 for Mac. Adobe Illustrator is a program used for digitizing , lettering and logos which are then used for embroidery. The process of digitizing involves converting a vector image into a digitized stitch file. We use Adobe Illustrator CS5 to digitize logos with the Embroidery i2 plug in. Once the logos / files are digitized they can be transferred to an embroidery machine and then used for embroidering a variety of garments from custom embroidered hats, custom embroidered polo shirts, and more!

Digitizing is the first step of the embroidery process and Phil’s tutorial will help you navigate Adobe Illustrator CS5 and the Embroidery i2 plug in.

  1. Firstly, one must opt for the cap brand name that fits the frameworks. Caps from various different headwear brand names differ more than we might actually think in shape, size and the list goes on. This implies that the caps of some brands might suit you more than that of other brands. embroidery services
